The Four Seasons of year in Poland

Winter starts in December and finishes in March. During this 3 months Poland is covered by snow and there is low temperature outside - about -15 degrees. Winter is white. Children play and made many sculptures of snow. People are skiing.
Spring starts in March and finishes in June. In March everything is changing. The nature is waking up. Snow is melting, we can observe first flowers. Birds start singing. Day is longer. Farmers run to the duties conected with plants. It is the time of birth and evolution of the life.
Summer starts in June and finishes in September. We all love summer because it is hot, with many flowers, colors of nature, hot nights, long day. It is time of summer holidays and many occasions for festivals and fun for the people.
Autumn starts in September and finishes in November. It is time of end of all of the cicles. It starts from famous traditional "Gold Polish autumn" and then it is getting colder... Birds go away from Poland for this cold time. Farmers finish their work. People get ready for the first snow. And then it is winter again.
4 times of the year... This cycle of nature is present from not remembered times. It is responsible in Poland for some culture and way of life of some people's groups, especially farmers. We still can observe traditional methods of work on the soil which depend from these four seasons during the year.
